We arrived in Bozeman, Montana on May 29 and drove down to Yellowstone. For the last 20 miles, we were in a blinding snow storm. The next day (Saturday) it snowed all day. The snow varied from a few inches to over 10 inches. Luckily, we rented a Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4-wheel drive. The wildlife was extremely active in the snow and we spent almost the whole day watching wildlife. You can see the wildlife pictures on the Wildlife page.
The park was beautiful with the fresh layer of snow.
This was taken at about 6 AM. Later there was 6-8 inches of snow on this turnout.
