Frankenmuth has a snowfest in February
each year that features snow sculpting and ice carving competitions. For those that don't know, Frankenmuth is known worldwide for their chicken dinners,
Bronner's Christmas Wonderland (huge Christmas decorations) and shopping. It's the first time I've ever seen snow carvings, and I was really impressed with them.
Note the oars in front of the boat.
All of the eagles looked good.
Spiderman and the Hulk
It was the busiest I have seen Frankenmuth since the '70s. Normally, you can often park next to the Bavarian Inn or across the bridge in their huge parking
lot. Well, today we arrived a little before noon, and I had to drive through the parking lot across the bridge, through another parking lot, and finally park in a snow packed field.
These are beside the Bavarian Inn.
There's a fire hydrant to the left that I missed.
One of Roger's favorites.
The Bighorn has eyes made of ice that shine in the sunlight.
Three toads
Most of the ice sculptures are by Zender's. Unfortunately, it's very hard to make out the detail with the busy background.

Dump truck.
Another of Grandma's favorites.
They have carriage, trolley, and bus rides around the city.
Front end of a car
Another of Roger's favorites.
This is cute!
Grandma liked this the best.
Dragon. There were a lot more, but grandma was getting cold.
