Horseshoe Bend, May 2003

The first few pictures are from locations close to Horseshoe Bend.  

Horseshoe Bend is near the city of Page, Arizona (which is located right by the Utah border and a little east of the Grand Canyon.

The trail is about 3/4 mile one way and you go up a hill and then back down. It is a very hot location and by the Bend, the bugs were unbelievable! Marian looked for a minute or two and went back up the hill.

The river does not connect in the back.

The white streaks in the water are boats.
