Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, May 2003

Glen Canyon is a water wonderland in the middle of the desert. To enjoy the area, you really need to have a boat. If you have the time, you might want to go see Rainbow Natural Bridge. You need to take a boat ride and then hike to see it.

We basically visited the dam and left.

It always amazes me to how they anchor the dams and bridges. Here the bridge and dam are supported by the weak rock faces.
