Dead Horse Point State Park, May 2003


Dead Horse Point towers 2,000 feet above the Colorado River and provides a breathtaking view of the canyon lands pinnacles and buttes. It is considered to be Utah's most spectacular state park.


The bright blue is a potash mine. We started from the other side of the mine and took the trail (called the Schafer Trail) up here. See the Canyonlands section for pictures.
