Ruby Beach

There is about a six foot difference between high and low tide. During low tide, you can walk out and see a lot of ocean life.

The black are mussels and the white are crustaceans.

Starfish attach themselves to the mussels and crustaceans and slowly pull them off the rocks and eat them.
