Mackinaw 10/01

We went up to Mackinaw for the weekend. Unfortunately, I mainly got to shoot sunrise pictures. Sunset at the Mackinaw Bridge.

It rained or drizzled most of the day and snowed Sunday morning.

This is from Wilderness State park looking towards the bridge.

These pictures were taken from one of the city parks.

We went to see Lost In The Fifties.

A few shots from inside Mama Mia's Pizzeria and Mackinaw Bridge Museum. They have a good film on the making of the bridge and a lot of interesting memorabilia. These are few of the hard hats. Note the US Steel hats. US Steel supplied most of the steel for the bridge.

Another sunrise. It had just stopped snowing.

Grandma made a new friend.

Note the snow on the deer's head. This year, we seem to get snow on every trip.

The trees looked good with the snow and fall colors.
