Rocky Mountain National Park, General

There are a few elk in the park.

The clouds are coming over the mountains.

The road switchbacks down the mountain.

We woke up our last morning (9/8/01) to over 8" of snow. We were supposed to drive to Grand Junction and drop Marian and Jennifer off at the airport. Forget it. The road was closed. We were able to drive to Denver and drop them off there. Then we had a choice of driving down to New Mexico or up to Wyoming to get back to the western end of Colorado. We decided to through Wyoming.
