Balcony House, Mesa Verde

Balcony House is located 600 feet above the canyon floor and has about 35-40 rooms. It was occupied about 75-100 years.

You climb this ladder to get into Balcony House.

Mud was used to hold the bricks together. They put small stone in the mud to strengthen the mix.

The steps are cut into the rock. You must start with the correct foot.
