The Wolfe Ranch is at the start of the trail. A Family lived here from the late 1890's to 1910. It has one room.
This is the storage building.
The trail is three miles long (round trip). The first quarter mile of the trail is pretty nice.
But soon you're heading up and up and up and the temperature just sits a little over 100 degrees (and it's in September).
We're in the last 200 yards.
We made it, and it's just in time (before I have a heart attack). The trail is a real killer.
Note the person at the bottom of the arch.
These pictures are taken from under a small arch that is close to Delicate Arch.
As we were hiking out, a storm was coming in.
Ute Rock Art. The horse and rider is surrounded by bighorn sheep and dog-like animals is typical.
