Mud Volcano 7/12

This is the closest we ever want to get to a buffalo! We made our plans on what to do if he charged us. The only thing we could do is drop to the ground and slide under the boardwalk which isn't such a good idea in a thermally active area.

This pool was really boiling.

 The weather was fantastic! It was 75 to 80 degrees each day, sunny, and really bright.

More tree damage from the elk. Actually, over half of the trees had markings.
