Midway Geyser Basin 7/13

Midway Geyser Basin was one of best basins that we saw. Not because of the height of the geysers (they were small) but because of the beautiful colors and textures.

You park next to the road and walk across the Fire Hole River on a nice bridge. On the side of the bridge, water from the geysers drain into the river.

Here's looking the other way. You can see the parking lot on the far right.

The colors are fantastic!

On a lot of the trail, you are walking right above the water.

A small fissure.
