Driving Between the West and North Entrances on 7/9

Yellowstone had massive fires in 1986 and damage is still very evident.

Beryl Spring. In the evening it was really steaming!

Elk by the side of the road. We saw hundreds of elk on the western side of Yellowstone.

If you're into people watching, there's plenty of them to watch.

In the light yellow-green strip in the middle, there are about 100 elk!

One of nicest things about Yellowstone is the many different types of terrain.

There's something almost magical about the wide open spaces, the sky is really clear and the sun is very bright!

There's a lot of flowers too.
