Dead Horse Point State Park

If you ever watch an old western movie, you may see this scene. It was a favorite for fights with the Indians. Someone would always get shot and fall over the side. This park is close to Arches National Park, abuts Canyonlands National Park, and most of the land in the picture is in Canyonlands. If you have a four-wheel drive car, you can take the road down there. The road climbs from the level of the river to the top of the cliffs. After yearning to take it for twenty years, we finally did it several years ago. We had a fantastic time!
